Lambda Theta Alpha is a community service based organization.
The Beta Alpha Chapter Philanthropy is Relay for Life, hosted by the American Cancer Society.
Sister's create teams, raise money and participate in the overnight event twice a year at the University of Hartford during the Fall semester and at Trinity College during the Spring semester.
In October 2009 the Beta Alpha Chapter raised over 700 dollars to donate to the American Cancer Society with their team LTA & Friends.
